MAGIC DAMAGE AND ZONE CONTROL

Mobile Legends mages

Mages clear waves, control approaches and punish from range with magic damage. Most begin in mid lane, yet their reach and power timing vary sharply. This hub explains those differences and opens every mage profile.

THE JOB

How a mage changes the map

Mid lane gives a mage access to both sides of the map after the wave is cleared. The rotation only creates an advantage when the hero has time and resources left to move. Staying on the wave while a side lane fights removes the value of that central position.

Mage covers burst, poke, control and utility, with some heroes also tagged Tank, Assassin or Support. Range, specialties and lanes reveal which kind of space each profile can control.

Three ways mages create room

01

Clear and rotate

Finishing the wave first lets a mage reach a side lane without giving away mid pressure and experience.

02

Close an approach

Crowd control and area damage make a narrow route cost health, time or an enemy defensive cooldown.

03

Use the right range

Poke weakens opponents before an objective, while burst waits for a short opening to concentrate damage.

BEFORE THE PICK

Which kind of mage fits the lineup

Start with the fight your team wants to play. Compare reach, control and damage speed, then check how much magic damage is already in the draft.

  1. 01

    Separate burst from poke

Immediate damage exploits a brief opening. Poke prepares the fight earlier and needs room to land more than once.

  2. 02

    Count the control

A control mage can make every ally's damage easier to land. If the team already has enough, range may solve more.

  3. 03

    Protect the route

An immobile mage needs information and a front line. Mobility or defensive tools matter more against fast divers.
