Defier of LightXavier upgrades his abilities through Transcendence, combines Infinite Extension with Mystic Field for control and fires Dawning Light across the entire map. He can influence a fight happening far away when he correctly reads where the target will be.

HOW TO PLAY
Send Infinite Extension through Mystic Field to root targets and build Transcendence. Do not place the field so far away that the projectile cannot cross it in time.
Watch side lanes while preparing Turtle and cast Dawning Light on enemies already controlled. The global beam can also clear a wave threatening a turret.
Late in the game, play behind vision and preserve Flicker for Natalia or Helcurt. Range offers little when Xavier is forced to fire at an assassin already beside him.

Default ranked mid setup that keeps Xavier's mana and cooldown engine online so he can repeatedly fish for Transcendence before objectives.
+300 HP. +75 Magic Power. +15% Cooldown Reduction. Mana Spring: Regenerates 15% of Max Mana every 10s in total. Magic Mastery: Max CD Reduction increased by 5%.
+300 HP. +60 Magic Power. +5% Movement Speed. Scorch: Burn target for 3s, dealing Magic Damage equal to 1.5% of the target's Max HP per second. Lifebane: Upon dealing damage to the target, reduces Shield and HP Regen of the target by 50% for 3 seconds.

Xavier enhances his subsequent skills each time one of them hits an enemy hero. Stage I: successful hits grant 50% Movement Speed that decays over 1.2 seconds. Stage II: subsequent skills become much wider. Stage III: skill cooldowns are reduced by 4 seconds, or 36 seconds for Dawning Light. At Stage III, Xavier enters Transcendence and every skill remains enhanced for 5 seconds; each hit on an enemy hero extends the duration by 1 second.
Xavier fires a Mystic Bullet that deals 480–650 Magic Damage to enemies it passes through. The Bullet's flying distance increases each time it hits an enemy or the Mystic Barrier (up to 5 times).
Xavier conjures a Mystic Barrier that lasts 5 seconds. Enemies that come into contact with the Barrier will take 220–340 Magic Damage and be slowed by 50%, while allies will gain extra Movement Speed that decays over 1.2 seconds. When hit by Xavier's other skills, the Barrier expands into a forbidden field for 3 seconds, dealing 220–340 Magic Damage to enemies within and immobilizing them for 1.2 seconds.
Xavier unleashes a beam of Mystic magic that deals 600–1100 Magic Damage to all enemies along its path. Once cast, he also directly enters the Transcendence state and resets the state's duration.

QUICK ANSWERS
