HOW TO PLAY
Charge Deadly Stinger throughout the route and avoid revealing position before a rotation. Uncertainty does part of Helcurt's work.
Use Dark Night Falls before engaging to cut information, then Hidden Terror towards the target that can no longer see nearby help.
Late in the game, the ultimate can also cover a Lord start or the team's retreat. Not every blackout requires Helcurt to dive for a kill.

Helcurt remains in Prowler state until the enemy team detects him. While he has not dealt damage, he gains 15% Movement Speed and continuously restores HP equal to 30% of his Total Physical Attack. When revealed, he gains 50% Attack Speed and 50% Movement Speed for 4 seconds; the Movement Speed bonus decays over time, and he leaves Prowler 0.75 seconds later. An enemy hero who dies after taking damage from Helcurt leaves a patch of Dark Fog. This can occur once every 10 seconds, and Helcurt is concealed while inside the fog.
Passive: While Helcurt is in Prowler state, this skill terrifies enemy heroes hit and its cooldown recovers 3 times faster. Active: Helcurt blinks to the target location, deals 150–300 Physical Damage to enemies in the area, and reduces their Movement Speed by 60% for 0.75 seconds.
Passive: Helcurt gains 1 Deadly Stinger for every 1.5 seconds spent in Prowler state and with each Basic Attack, up to 5 stingers. Active: Helcurt fires every stored Deadly Stinger forward. Each one deals 180–280 Physical Damage; Minions and Creeps take only 70% of that damage. Deadly Stinger counts as a Basic Attack but cannot critically strike.
Helcurt summons the Dark Night, reducing all enemies' sight range and making them lose sight of their allies for 3s. During Dark Night, Helcurt gains 40% Movement Speed. The Dark Night makes it easier for Helcurt to leave enemies' sight range.

QUICK ANSWERS
Helcurt is currently played mainly in Jungle and Roaming. The guide separates the recommended builds by lane or job, so choose that tab before copying the six items.
Start with «Jungle Pickoff Default». The other options, «Roam Dire Hit Burst» and «Anti-Frontline Stinger DPS», are there for a different lane or match-up; they are not cosmetic variations.
Karina, Argus and Cyclops are the first counters to consider. Argus survives the burst, while Karina can answer at close range without relying on sustained basic attacks.
2 non-default skins have confirmed availability at this review. 5 more are limited or upcoming, with the original acquisition method recorded. Check the current event or shop in your client before spending.
