SEASON 42 PROFILE
Akuma NinjaHanzo clears the jungle with Ninjutsu: Demon Feast, then sends Hanekage into fights through Kinjutsu: Pinnacle Ninja while his body stays behind. That split lets him reach places other assassins cannot, but it also gives alert opponents a route back to the real Hanzo.

HOW TO PLAY
Use Demon Feast to finish the opening clear quickly and reach level 4 before taking risks. Hide Hanzo's body where his team can actually protect it, not in the most obvious bush.
Before Turtle or Lord, send Hanekage through entrances to scout and soften targets. If the enemy spots the direction of the tether, relocate before casting the ultimate again.
Approach late fights from a different angle to the rest of the team. The goal is to force the back line away while keeping Hanzo's real body out of Natalia, Ling or Helcurt's reach.

Damage dealt by Hanzo's Basic Attacks and skills inflicts a stack of Dark Ninjutsu on the target, up to 5 stacks. Ninjutsu Demon Feast can only be cast on targets with full stacks of Dark Ninjutsu.
This skill can only be used on targets with max stacks of Dark Ninjutsu. When targeting a creep, Hanzo will immediately devour it and digest it over a period of time to recover 20% HP. When targeting the Turtle, Lord, or enemy heroes, he deals 600–800, recovers 10%~20% HP, and reduces this skill's cooldown by 60%.
Hanekage dashes to an enemy hero and, after a brief delay, deals 300–400 Physical Damage to the target and nearby units. Each stack of Dark Ninjutsu on the target increases the damage by 20%; nearby units are not affected by this bonus. At maximum Dark Ninjutsu stacks, the skill deals extra damage equal to 15% of the target's Max HP, ignores 30% of the target's Physical Defense, and restores 30% HP to Hanzo.
Hanzo dashes in the target direction, leaving dark mist in front that deals 90–140 Physical Damage to enemies in the area every 0.5 seconds, up to 5 times (this damage counts as Basic Attack damage but cannot Crit). The dark mist slows enemies in the area by 40% and grants Hanzo 20% Movement Speed.
Hanekage dashes in the target direction, briefly knocking enemies in his path airborne for 0.4 seconds and leaving dark mist in the area he passes through (recovers 200 Energy when hitting an enemy hero). The mist deals 135–210 Physical Damage to enemies in the area every 0.5 seconds, up to 5 times (this damage counts as Basic Attack damage but cannot Crit.) The dark mist slows enemies in the area by 40%.
Hanzo charges into battle as Hanekage, consuming 170 Energy per second. He gains 20 Energy when a non-hero unit dies nearby and 200 Energy when it's a hero. He gains 15 Energy when attacking a hero, and 45 Energy when attacking the Turtle or the Lord. When Energy runs out, Hanzo's body will be slowly drawn to Hanekage's position. While in Hanekage form, Hanzo's body is invincible, and Hanekage ignores obstacles and gains 50% Movement Speed and 30% Attack Speed. Use Again or Upon Death: Hanekage returns to Hanzo's body, recovering 16% HP and becoming untargetable during the return. If Hanekage is killed, Hanzo will be slowed by 50% and revealed for 6 seconds.
Hanekage returns to Hanzo's body and exits the Hanekage form.

THE DRAFT
Diggie and Ixia become predictable targets when they set up to help their team, and Hanzo can reach them without crossing the entire front line.
Natalia and Ling move through the map quickly enough to hunt Hanzo's real body while Hanekage is fighting elsewhere.
Obsidia benefits from the disruption Hanekage creates in the back line, while Valentina can punish opponents who spend time hunting the body.

QUICK ANSWERS
Hanzo is currently played mainly in Jungle. The guide separates the recommended builds by lane or job, so choose that tab before copying the six items.
Start with «Jungle On-Hit Default». The other options, «Jungle Pickoff Burst» and «Jungle Snowball Execute», are there for a different lane or match-up; they are not cosmetic variations.
Natalia, Joy and Ling are the first counters to consider. Natalia and Ling move through the map quickly enough to hunt Hanzo's real body while Hanekage is fighting elsewhere.
3 non-default skins have confirmed availability at this review. 1 more are limited or upcoming, with the original acquisition method recorded. Check the current event or shop in your client before spending.
