Wandering SwordEnemy's Bane strips physical defence and Triple Sweep locks down a single target. Saber's job is to find an isolated squishy hero, remove them and leave before the rest of the enemy team can answer.

HOW TO PLAY
Finish the first jungle route and reach level four without donating camps to a forced gank. Triple Sweep is what turns Saber's presence into a real kill threat.
Cast Orbiting Swords before going in and use Charge to reach the marksman or mage. First check that a tank is not waiting to intercept you.
Once full team fights begin, do not show Saber on the front line. Circle the area and threaten the enemy who steps away to deal damage.

Saber's attacks reduce enemies' Physical Defense by 3–8 for 5 seconds on hit. This effect stacks up to 5 times.
Saber shoots out 5 swords that orbit around him, dealing 80–105 Physical Damage to enemies on contact. After orbiting around Saber for roughly 5 seconds, the swords will fly back to Saber. Within the duration of this skill, when Saber deals damage with his Basic Attacks or skills, he will send an orbiting sword towards the target, dealing 210–260 Physical Damage to the main target and 50% of the damage to other targets it passes through and reducing the cooldown of Charge by 1 second. It deals only 50% damage to all non-hero enemies such as minions and creeps.
Saber dashes in the target direction, dealing 75–150 Physical Damage to enemies along the way while enhancing his next Basic Attack. Saber can dash to the target, and his enhanced Basic Attack deals 75–150 Physical Damage and slows the target by 60% for 1 second.
Saber charges at the target enemy hero, knocking them airborne for 1.2 seconds and striking them 3 times over the duration. The first two strikes deal 120–180 Physical Damage each, while the third strike deals 240–360 Physical Damage.

THE DRAFT
Ling, Natalia and Hayabusa are fragile and rely on movement; Triple Sweep denies that mobility throughout Saber's burst.
Argus can survive the execution and Fredrinn can absorb the full combo, leaving Saber exposed after he commits.
Lolita and Khufra can start the fight and split the enemy formation, making it easier for Saber to find an unprotected target.

QUICK ANSWERS
Saber is currently played mainly in Jungle and Roaming. The guide separates the recommended builds by lane or job, so choose that tab before copying the six items.
Start with «Jungle Pickoff Default». The other options, «Jungle Armor Breaker» and «Roam Dire Hit Charge», are there for a different lane or match-up; they are not cosmetic variations.
Leomord, Balmond and Miya are the first counters to consider. Argus can survive the execution and Fredrinn can absorb the full combo, leaving Saber exposed after he commits.
4 non-default skins have confirmed availability at this review. 4 more are limited or upcoming, with the original acquisition method recorded. Check the current event or shop in your client before spending.
