Edith is a Tank / Marksman hero. They set the terms of each engage, control vision and decide which enemy is allowed near the back line. Its control decides which target can be attacked.
In the opening minutes, secure the wave and avoid extended trades until the key ability is available.
Before the first Turtle, push the lane and then rotate. Arriving early is not worth a tower and two lost waves.
In late fights, approach from a side angle. Walking straight at the enemy removes much of the threat.
Reference combo: S1 → AA → S2 → AA. Practise the order, but do not force it while the target still has an escape.
