SEASON 41 PROFILE

Dino Rider

Barats

TankFighterJungle

Barats builds Big Guy stacks so Detona grows, gains durability and turns every skill into a much larger presence. Detona's Welcome swallows and displaces a target, but reaching the fight with stacks intact matters as much as landing the ultimate.

IN THE GAME SINCE
18 September 2020
  1. 01EARLY GAME

Maintain Big Guy by hitting monsters and waves throughout the clear. A long rotation without touching anything can leave Barats small at the moment he most needs to control space.

  2. 02MID GAME

Around Turtle, place So-Called Teamwork across an entrance and save Missile Expert to push enemies toward the team. Detona's Welcome should remove the jungler from the objective or deliver a priority target.

  3. 03LATE GAME

Late in the game, avoid chasing X.Borg or Valir away from the formation. Barats wins by occupying the Lord corridor and forcing opponents into Detona's reach.

  1. HOW IT WORKS

Detona gains a stack of Big Guy for 12 seconds each time it or Barats damages an enemy with their skills (up to 10 stacks). Each stack of Big Guy increases Detona's size, and grants 4–10 extra Hybrid Defense (scales with the level of Detona's Welcome) and 5% extra Resilience. At max stacks, Detona's Basic Attacks will be replaced with Trample, which deals 140% Total Physical Attack to enemies in a circular area, slows them by 40% for 0.2 seconds, and refreshes the duration of Big Guy with each hit.

  2. HOW IT WORKS

Detona spits contaminated oil in the target direction, dealing 60–160 Physical Damage in a fan-shaped area. Barats then ignites the oil with a firecracker for another 120–320 Physical Damage. The area of So-Called Teamwork grows with Big Guy stacks.

  3. HOW IT WORKS

Barats fires two missiles at the target location, dealing 100–175 Physical Damage and slowing enemies by 40% for 1 second. The missiles expel fumes from their exhausts upon landing, dealing 100–175 Physical Damage to enemies in a rectangular area and pushing them toward Barats.

  4. HOW IT WORKS

After a short delay, Detona charges in the target direction, deals 120–200 Physical Damage to the first enemy hit, and devours and suppresses them for 1.2 seconds before spitting them out. If the target collides with an enemy hero or a wall, they cause an explosion. The target and nearby enemies take another 180–300 Physical Damage and are stunned for 1 second. Barats is immune to control effects during the skill. If the channel is cancelled, 60% of the skill's cooldown is refunded. Passive: Detona gains 4–10 Big Guy stacks when Barats respawns.

QUICK ANSWERS

The questions players ask about Barats

01What is the best lane for Barats?+

Barats is currently played mainly in Jungle. The guide separates the recommended builds by lane or job, so choose that tab before copying the six items.

02Which Barats build should I use?+

Start with «Jungle Stack Bruiser». The other options, «Anti-Sustain Frontliner» and «Roam Wall-Set Engage», are there for a different lane or match-up; they are not cosmetic variations.

03Which heroes counter Barats?+

X.Borg, Gord and Karrie are the first counters to consider. X.Borg wears down Barats from outside his reach, while Gord controls the corridor before he can occupy it.

04Which Barats skins can be obtained now?+

4 skins are marked as obtainable right now. 1 more is kept in the vault with the event or shop where each one originally appeared.
