SEASON 41 PROFILE

Black Dragon

Yu Zhong

FighterEXP Lane

Yu Zhong applies Sha Residue through Cursing Touch and recovers health once the marks complete. Black Dragon Form crosses the enemy formation to reach the back line, but the dragon only opens the fight; his human-form abilities still need to land afterwards.

IN THE GAME SINCE
16 June 2020
  1. 01EARLY GAME

Apply several marks through short trades and use Dragon Tail's outer edge. Do not spend Furious Dive forward when Cursing Touch cannot be completed.

  2. 02MID GAME

Push EXP and enter Black Dragon Form from the side to separate the marksman from the front line. End the transformation where Soul Grip and Dragon Tail can connect.

  3. 03LATE GAME

Late in the game, cross the enemy team to break its formation rather than disappearing behind five players. If allies cannot follow the route, use the dragon as pressure and return.

  1. HOW IT WORKS

Yu Zhong applies Sha Residue to enemy heroes whenever he deals Physical Damage to them. At 5 stacks, Sha Residue erupts and then consumes one stack every 0.4 seconds, dealing 20 Physical Damage to the target. Each consumed stack restores 6% of Yu Zhong's lost HP. When Sha Residue erupts, Yu Zhong also gains 30% Movement Speed for 3 seconds.

  2. HOW IT WORKS

Yu Zhong infuses his power into his cloak and turns it into a weapon, which starts to attack nearby enemies after a short delay. The inner area of the cloak deals 220–400 Physical Damage, whereas the sharpened edge deals 275% damage and applies 2 stacks of Sha Residue.

  3. HOW IT WORKS

Yu Zhong unleashes the Dragon Soul, dealing 150–300 Physical Damage to all enemies in front and slowing them by 60% for 1 second. Upon target hit, Yu Zhong's next Basic Attack will be enhanced for 5 seconds, dealing 108–216 Physical Damage and 100% Total Physical Attack behind the target. (Upon multiple target hit, Yu Zhong applies Sha Residue multiple times with the enhanced Basic Attack, dealing up to 200% damage.)

  4. HOW IT WORKS

Yu Zhong leaps towards the designated area with his full strength, dealing 180–270 Physical Damage. He is able to dash one more time in the movement direction. After a short delay, enemies within the area of effect will be knocked airborne for 0.8 seconds and take 180–270 additional Physical Damage.

  5. HOW IT WORKS

After channeling for 0.6 seconds, Yu Zhong transforms into his Black Dragon Form. For up to 7 seconds, he cannot use any skills but can move freely and will knock back enemy heroes in his path while dealing 180–310 Physical Damage. He also gains 1000–2000 Max HP, becomes immune to control effects, and ignores obstacles in this form. Upon exiting Black Dragon Form, Yu Zhong enters Dragonoid Form, gaining increased range on all of his skills for 10 seconds.

  4. v1.4.94ADJUSTMENT
    • ADJUSTMENTPartially Adjusted label specialty - Charge/Reap to Regen/Reap.
    • ADJUSTMENTYu Zhong's performance on the Advanced Server shows that it is quite difficult for players to trigger the Sha Residue eruption, thus we have set high benefits for this effect. However, we have found that about twice as many players as before are able to utilize this mechanism. To deal with the balance problem caused by the frequent high HP restoration, we have adjusted the HP restoration amount. Meanwhile, we have slightly reduced the Movement Speed gain from the fully-charged Sha Essence to ease the problem.
    • NERFMissing HP Restoration: 8% → 6%
    • NERFMovement Speed Gain: 40% → 30%
