Mobile Legends S42 tier list: which heroes to choose and how to read their stats

Rafaela reaches 59.38% in the seven-day all-rank sample. Win rate is separate from ease of use, and your rank changes which comparison is useful.

Your rank and position decide the useful answer

Rafaela leads the seven-day all-rank sample at 59.38% wins. That does not make her right for every team: she is a roaming support, not a substitute for a jungler or marksman. This October 1 review covers Season 42 and Patch 2.2.16.

Figures come from MLBBHub, a third-party provider that names GMS/MAPI as its upstream source. They are not our own measurement or a table published by MOONTON. Epic, Legend, Mythic, Mythical Honor and Mythical Glory breakdowns are now available. Select your rank in the full tier table before comparing.

The table assigns S through D using win-rate thresholds. The letter does not measure difficulty, personal mastery or draft fit. This guide explains the choice, while the full table keeps every hero’s figures available.

Support roam

The all-rank sample’s win-rate leaders include Rafaela (59.38 %), Marcel (58.45 %), Minotaur (55.13 %).

Choose healing, protection or control according to the team’s missing tools. A high-win-rate support can still depend on teammates using its abilities well.

Tank roam

The all-rank sample’s win-rate leaders include Minotaur (55.13 %), Khufra (54.75 %), Lolita (54.17 %).

An initiator needs teammates to follow in time. Check bans and practice a second tank so the draft does not remove your only option.

Mid lane

The all-rank sample’s win-rate leaders include Gord (52.90 %), Valir (52.90 %), Yve (52.71 %).

Mid needs to clear the wave before rotating. Win rate does not tell you whether the team already has enough magic damage or needs more control.

Jungle and EXP

The all-rank sample’s win-rate leaders include Aulus (58.76 %), Masha (58.64 %), Argus (55.32 %).

Jungle and EXP are different positions. Check each hero’s lanes in its guide: Retribution and objective contests belong to the jungler.

Gold lane

The all-rank sample’s win-rate leaders include Popol and Kupa (53.76 %), Obsidia (53.74 %), Bruno (53.59 %).

Leading gold-lane win rate does not remove the need to farm and keep distance. A rarely selected hero can have a sample dominated by specialists.

Before locking in, check counters and cover all five positions in the draft assistant. Our beginner hero selection uses ease of execution rather than this week’s win rate.

The roles and lanes guide explains which job each pick needs to fill.
