Masha has the best win rate in Mobile Legends right now. In the seven days before November 7, she won 61.5% of her ranked games and was banned in 40.6% of matches across every rank and server on Patch 2.2.16a, according to the MLBBHub tier list, a stats site that says it uses MOONTON's data. Marcel is second at 57.4%.
Her September 16 rework is why. It gave her three health bars. Healing supports like Estes and Rafaela handle her best, and the key habit is saving your stun for her last bar.
Why the reworked Masha wins so much
Patch 2.2.16 turned Masha from a split-pushing assassin into a fighter built for long brawls. Her passive, Primal Pact, has three parts:
- Three health bars, each worth half the HP her items provide. When one breaks, she cleanses stuns and slows, blocks the next hit and gets her dash, Claw Strike, back. - Wounds. Every skill that hits an enemy hero leaves a Wound on a random side of them, and a basic attack from that side breaks it. - Feral. Breaking a Wound gives her 3 seconds of 15% extra attack speed, movement speed and resilience, which shortens crowd control on her. Her next three basic attacks become area claw swipes that deal 3% of each target's max HP and heal her for 4%.
MLBBHub's November 6 rank data has her at 55.2% in Epic and 62.2% in Mythical Glory, where she's banned in 74.3% of drafts. Her pick rate is just 0.53%, so the few players who pick her have probably mastered her, which may push the number up. She already topped our October 28 tier list.

Masha build, emblem and battle spell
The EXP Lane build MLBBHub recommends, also on our Masha hero page, costs 11,060 gold. Four of its six items add HP to fill her bars:
- Warrior Boots: Physical Defense that grows as you take hits. Against heavy crowd control, go Tough Boots, which cut its duration by 30%. - War Axe: HP, attack that ramps up while you keep hitting, and true damage that ignores defense. - Corrosion Scythe: attack speed and slowing basic attacks, so you break Wounds faster. - Thunder Belt: 800 HP and an area-damage basic attack every 4 seconds. Against healers, take Sea Halberd, which cuts healing to 60% on whoever you hit. - Queen's Wings: 600 HP and 30% damage reduction for 3 seconds when you drop below 40% HP. - Immortality: 800 HP and a revive 2.5 seconds after you die.
Run the Fighter emblem with Firmness (extra defense), Festival of Blood (skill damage heals you) and Brave Smite, which restores 5% of your max HP when a skill hits a hero, at most once every 6 seconds. Sprint is the battle spell: 6 seconds of speed and slow immunity to reach the Wound side. Our guides to items, emblems and battle spells cover the alternatives.
How to play Masha
Masha plays the EXP Lane, the side lane where two fighters square off. Land Feral Swipe, which slows by 50% for a second and leaves a Wound, use Claw Strike to get to that side and break it with a basic attack. Losing a bar in lane isn't a big deal, but count how many you have left before you chase anyone under their turret.
MLBBHub has her peaking before the 10-minute mark and fading after minute 16, though that's based on only ten measured matchups, so look to get ahead early. Save her ultimate, Savage Maul, a charge that stuns for 1 second, for someone your team can finish. Late game, fight with your team, since her claws' percentage damage doesn't apply to turrets.
How to counter Masha
MLBBHub's November 5 matchup data lists her worst matchups as Estes (+3.4 points), Freya (+2.9), Rafaela (+2.4), Bruno, Floryn and Ruby (+2.2 each). Each number is how much that hero's usual win rate rises when Masha is on the other team. Her passive also suggests three rules:
- Save your stun for her last bar. If you throw it just before a bar breaks, the break cleanses it. - Buy anti-heal. Sea Halberd, or Dominance Ice on a tank, cuts healing to 60% on whoever you hit or stand near. - Keep your distance. If she can't hit you from the Wound side, she can't go Feral.
If the enemy has already locked her in, avoid Gloo, Eudora, Lesley, Yu Zhong and Brody, who lose 2.2 to 3.6 points against her. Given how she performs at high ranks, we'd ban her from Mythic up. You can test picks against her in our draft lab, and our draft guide explains when a ban is worth spending.

What the next patch could change
MOONTON is testing nerfs on the Advanced Server, a separate copy of the game where it trials changes before they go live. Patch 2.2.28 (October 24) slightly lowers her passive's late-game damage and leaves her ultimate as it is, per our patch notes breakdown. Patch 2.2.30 (October 30) trims her Wound damage and HP regen, per the notes MLBBHub tracks. If both ship as tested, she'd heal less in long fights, but neither has a release date yet.
Frequently asked questions
Why is Masha's win rate so high in Mobile Legends?
Since her September 16 rework she has three health bars, and losing each one cleanses crowd control, blocks a hit and resets her dash. Breaking the Wounds her skills leave also triggers claw swipes that deal area damage and heal her. MLBBHub has her winning 61.5% of ranked games in the seven days before November 7, the highest of any hero.
What is the best Masha build?
The EXP Lane build MLBBHub recommends is Warrior Boots, War Axe, Corrosion Scythe, Thunder Belt, Queen's Wings and Immortality, for 11,060 gold. War Axe and Corrosion Scythe keep her damage up in long fights, and the HP items fill her three bars. Swap Thunder Belt for Sea Halberd against healers, and Warrior Boots for Tough Boots against heavy crowd control.
What emblem and battle spell should Masha use?
Use the Fighter emblem with Firmness, Festival of Blood and Brave Smite. Brave Smite restores 5% of her max HP when a skill hits a hero, at most once every 6 seconds. Sprint is the recommended battle spell because it gives 6 seconds of speed and slow immunity to reach the Wound side of a target.
Who counters Masha?
MLBBHub's November 5 matchup data puts Estes on top (her usual win rate rises 3.4 points against Masha), followed by Freya, Rafaela, Bruno, Floryn and Ruby. Healers likely work because they undo her sustained damage. It also helps to save your stun for her last bar and to build anti-heal such as Sea Halberd or Dominance Ice.
Is Masha good for beginners?
Her skills are simple, but Feral asks you to circle an enemy and hit them from the Wound side mid-fight, which takes practice. She wins 55.2% in Epic versus 62.2% in Mythical Glory, a gap that suggests she rewards experience. Learn her in Classic before taking her into ranked.
Is Masha getting nerfed?
MOONTON is testing cuts on the Advanced Server. Patch 2.2.28 slightly lowers her passive's late-game damage, and 2.2.30 trims her Wound damage and HP regen. Her ultimate would stay as it is. There's no date yet for the next live-server patch, and test changes can be revised before they ship.
