Mathilda is a Support / Assassin hero. They work best by reading the fight before it starts and holding utility for the teammate who actually needs it. The game changes when it finds a clean engage.
Open the map for the jungler, check bushes and protect the lane that can turn a small lead into a turret.
Check the minimap before engaging. A good ability with two teammates far away is still a bad fight.
Around Lord and the base, keep at least one tool for the main damage dealer. Engaging while abandoning the back line is not always worth it.
Reference combo: S1 → S2 (Hold) → AA → Release S2 → AA. Practise the order, but do not force it while the target still has an escape.
