SEASON 41 PROFILE

Death Chanter

Granger

MarksmanGold Lane

Granger deals damage in bursts: Rhapsody empties his rounds, Rondo repositions and Death Sonata finishes from range. He works when every shot has a clear purpose; trading basic attacks like an attack-speed marksman wastes both ammunition and mobility.

IN THE GAME SINCE
23 April 2019
  1. 01EARLY GAME

Track ammunition before trading and line up Rhapsody so the wave does not absorb it. Rondo should create a clean angle or an escape, not move Granger closer without a reason.

  2. 02MID GAME

After the first turret, rotate with a teammate who can provide vision and open Death Sonata from safety. Its shots can force enemies away from Turtle even without securing a kill.

  3. 03LATE GAME

Late in the game, wait for the enemy tank to reveal the engage and punish whoever has already taken damage. If Rondo goes forward, make sure Flicker remains available.

  1. HOW IT WORKS

Granger's Demon Hunting Gun and Cannon are powered by Demonic Energy. Both weapons have a starting Energy cap of 800. His Gun restores 8% Energy per second, while his Cannon restores 2%. Each Minion or Creep kill permanently increases the Energy cap of both weapons by 6 and instantly restores 5% Energy. Each enemy hero kill or assist permanently increases their Energy cap by 12 and restores 10% Energy. Every 1% Cooldown Reduction Granger gains is converted into 2 points of Physical Attack. Demonic Energy costs are not affected by Energy Cost Reduction.

  2. HOW IT WORKS

Granger rapidly fires 6 shots with his gun. Each shot deals 60–120 Physical Damage and consumes 70 Gun Energy; the final bullet is guaranteed to land a Critical Hit. Each bullet deals 70 additional damage to Creeps and Minions. Granger gains 15% Movement Speed while firing and stops when he runs out of Energy or casts the skill again. Rhapsody has a brief cooldown and can be cast whenever his Gun Energy is above 420.

  3. HOW IT WORKS

Granger uses his Demon Hunter agility to dash in the target direction, instantly restoring 15%–25% Energy for his Gun. Rondo can be cast while channeling Rhapsody. Each time Rhapsody hits an enemy, Rondo's cooldown is reduced by 0.5 seconds.

  4. HOW IT WORKS

Granger fires his Cannon in the target direction, dealing 150–300 Physical Damage to the first enemy hero hit and other targets in the blast radius. Targets hit will be slowed and revealed for a brief duration. Granger can roll in the Joystick's direction after each shot. Death Sonata can be cast while firing Rhapsody. Death Sonata has a brief cooldown and consumes 250 of Granger's Cannon Energy per shot.

Granger is struggling to convert games in this rank. That does not erase good matchups, but blind-picking the hero is difficult to justify right now.

The questions players ask about Granger

01What is the best lane for Granger?+

Granger is currently played mainly in Gold Lane. The guide separates the recommended builds by lane or job, so choose that tab before copying the six items.

02Which Granger build should I use?+

Start with «Gold Lane Burst». The other options, «Anti-Frontline Gold» and «Jungle Tempo», are there for a different lane or match-up; they are not cosmetic variations.

03Which heroes counter Granger?+

Fanny, Irithel and Gloo are the first counters to consider. Fanny ignores much of the spacing Granger tries to maintain, while Mathilda can deliver a teammate directly onto him.

04Which Granger skins can be obtained now?+

4 skins are marked as obtainable right now. 6 more are kept in the vault with the event or shop where each one originally appeared.
