SEASON 42 PROFILE
Soul ContractorContract: Soul Steal stacks permanent damage by finishing units, while Contract: Chase Fate reveals all five opponents before allowing a global charge. Aldous needs patience with stacks and judgement with the ultimate; seeing an enemy does not mean he should fly towards them.

HOW TO PLAY
Prioritise last hits with Soul Steal and avoid losing waves for a fight that offers no kill or objective.
Activate Chase Fate for information before choosing whether to charge. Cancel if the target reaches the team or a well-defended turret.
Late in the game, use Contract: Explosion's shield to absorb the first burst and land the stacked attack on the marksman or mage rather than the available tank.

Every 8 seconds, Aldous’s next Basic Attack grants a shield equal to 350 plus 3 times his Soul Steal stack count for 3 seconds.
Aldous enhances his next Basic Attack. It deals 200–450 Physical Damage plus 3 for every Soul Steal stack. Killing Lord or Turtle with the attack grants 12 stacks; heroes and siege Minions grant 12, while other non-hero units, including turrets, grant 5. Aldous can store up to 1,000 stacks. The enhanced attack deals 300% base damage to Minions and Creeps. Nearby allied siege Minion kills grant 6 stacks, while other non-hero units grant 2.
Aldous enters a defensive stance for up to 2 seconds, gaining 30% Damage Reduction and 20% Movement Speed. When the stance ends, he damages and stuns nearby enemies. An immediate release deals 200–300 Physical Damage. A full charge raises it to 400–600. The stun also extends from 0.5 to 1 second.
Aldous reveals every enemy hero for 5 seconds. Casting the skill again sends him toward a selected hero; on arrival, he deals 400–750 Physical Damage and knocks the target back for 1 second. The charge interrupts Recall and Arrival. Aldous can cast the skill once more while travelling to cancel the charge and blink in a chosen direction instead.

Start with «EXP Lane Default». The other options, «Burst Pickoff» and «Jungle Tempo», are there for a different lane or match-up; they are not cosmetic variations.
Zilong, Esmeralda and Silvanna are the first counters to consider. Kalea and Mathilda protect or move the target before the stacked attack finds a kill.
3 non-default skins have confirmed availability at this review. 6 more are limited or upcoming, with the original acquisition method recorded. Check the current event or shop in your client before spending.
