NVIDIA’s October 6 Game Ready announcement confirms two different Modern Warfare 4 launch dates. Pre-orders receive campaign early access starting October 16. The full game follows on October 23, adding multiplayer and the DMZ extraction mode.
Campaign access is the pre-order benefit, rather than an early opening for every mode. The official terms allow for platform availability and time-zone differences, so the date alone does not establish a universal unlock hour.
RTX generation determines the DLSS options
DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution is announced across all modes. It renders fewer pixels before reconstructing the output image, reducing the GPU’s rendering workload. RTX 40 cards also get Frame Generation, which inserts computed frames between game-rendered frames. RTX 50 hardware adds Dynamic Multi Frame Generation with up to 6X multiplication.
That multiplier counts inserted frames too. It does not mean the game checks your input six times as often. NVIDIA also lists Reflex for every GeForce RTX system to reduce delays in the rendering pipeline. These are the vendor’s feature claims, rather than INSERT FUTURE performance measurements.
Our DLAA versus DLSS guide explains the choice between keeping native resolution and using reconstruction when GPU performance is limited.

Driver first, settings comparison when you can play
Game Ready 617.42 is available through NVIDIA app and NVIDIA’s website. The download prepares the advertised support without unlocking the campaign before October 16. Check the Modern Warfare 4 PC requirements as well, since a driver cannot replace missing hardware or security requirements.
Beenox’s PC feature breakdown describes a built-in benchmark that runs a multiplayer sequence and reports frame rates, CPU and GPU data, and input latency. Once the game becomes accessible, use the same test and change one setting at a time to compare the result.
