Extended Operations is a free 007 First Light update released October 1 alongside version 1.3.0. It adds New Game+, a Photo Mode, 00 difficulty and more TacSim activities. IO Interactive’s patch notes require a completed campaign before New Game+ or 00 difficulty can be unlocked.
Owners receive the DLC without buying a separate expansion. The campaign-completion requirement applies to the replay options, rather than turning the whole update into paid content.
Replay customization has a story limit
New Game+ lets you change outfits and swap spy gadgets during missions. Gadget flexibility does not bypass the story’s unlock order: only tools already introduced at that point in the campaign can be used. Completing the game therefore does not put every gadget into the opening mission.
The optional 00 setting makes enemies quicker to detect you and more damaging, while restoring fewer gadget resources. You can also play New Game+ on a lower difficulty. Photo Mode freezes the action and offers camera, pose and image adjustments.

Four Valhalla missions and another Pearl operation
The DLC announcement lists four Valhalla Protocol missions in Slovakia’s mountains, with the armed Aston Martin Valhalla and time bonuses for objectives. Jungle Heist adds a TacSim operation to retrieve documents from the villa at Vietnam’s The Pearl hotel.
IO Interactive lists update downloads of 11.9 GB on PS5, 14 GB on Steam and 13.5 GB on Xbox Series. Those figures describe the update rather than the full installation. Check your platform’s current download display before clearing storage.
