Meridiem has announced a physical PlayStation 5 edition of Carmageddon: Rogue Shift for November 27, 2026, with pre-orders open in Spain. The distributor’s announcement establishes the Spanish retail release, rather than a new worldwide launch date.
Rogue Shift is already available digitally. Its official Steam listing records a February 6, 2026 PC release. The November news concerns the PS5 disc edition, and the Spanish announcement does not confirm US retail availability or a US price.
A combat-racing campaign built around repeated runs
The arcade-driving campaign sends you through branching routes, with repairs and equipment choices between races. District bosses block progression. When a vehicle is destroyed, another driver starts a new attempt while previously earned permanent unlocks remain available.
That combination of repeat attempts and lasting progression is described as roguelite. Our roguelike versus roguelite explainer breaks down the distinction without assuming every game uses identical rules.

The disc edition still has unanswered details
Meridiem lists 15 upgradeable vehicles, 13 weapon classes and more than 80 perks to combine. Those describe the game, rather than bonus content exclusive to the physical edition. The announcement does not specify an official price, extra box contents or whether the disc will require downloads.
Check the retailer’s listing before treating any of those missing details as confirmed. For a different racing format, our Star Wars: Galactic Racer article explains its vehicles, routes and upgrades.
