Modern Warfare 4 PC requirements: minimum, recommended and Activision's warning

The official table exists, but it is not final

Activision has published minimum and recommended PC requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. One qualification belongs above every graphics card: this table applies to the beta, and the company warns that the full game's launch requirements may differ.

The sheet below includes the operating system, graphics memory and SSD requirements for both tiers. It compares your hardware with the beta requirements, not a guarantee of final campaign performance or storage. Activision may revise those requirements before launch.

The practical gap between minimum and recommended

Minimum combines a Ryzen 5 1600 or Core i5-8400, 12GB of RAM and older cards such as the RX 470, GTX 970 or GTX 1060, plus Intel's Arc A580. Recommended rises to a Ryzen 5 3600 or Core i7-8700, 16GB and an RX 6700 XT, RTX 3060 Ti or Arc B580.

Activision has not attached a specific resolution, quality preset and frame rate to either column. We cannot translate recommended into 1440p at 60fps or minimum into 1080p at 30fps. These are official components, not a complete performance promise.

SSD, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot count too

Both configurations require an SSD, broadband connection, DirectX 12 and a compatible sound card. PC players also need TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, two security features used by RICOCHET to make system-level tampering more difficult. A computer can have enough performance and still fail to launch if those options are disabled in its BIOS.
