Modern Warfare 4 PC requirements: minimum, recommended and Activision's warning

The beta needs 12GB of RAM and a GTX 970 at minimum. Recommended rises to 16GB and an RTX 3060 Ti, but these are not final launch specs.

The official table exists, but it is not final

Activision has published minimum and recommended PC requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. One qualification belongs above every graphics card: this table applies to the beta, and the company warns that the full game's launch requirements may differ.

The beta table remains useful because it runs on the same engine and shows whether a PC belongs in the conversation, although it does not reveal final storage or guarantee identical performance across Campaign, Multiplayer and DMZ. We will update this page at the same URL when Activision publishes the game's final PC requirements.

SSD, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot count too

Both configurations require an SSD, broadband connection, DirectX 12 and a compatible sound card. PC players also need TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, two security features used by RICOCHET to make system-level tampering more difficult. A computer can have enough performance and still fail to launch if those options are disabled in its BIOS.

Modern Warfare 4 launches October 23 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2. Our beta schedule and access guide records the completed test weekends. The remaining questions are the final spec table and the full installation size.
