Warhammer Survivors releases November 10, 2026, developer Auroch Digital has confirmed. The announced platforms are Steam, GOG, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, Android and iOS. A new demo is already available, giving players two champions to try before launch.
The Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun studio is working with Warhammer and Vampire Survivors creator poncle on a horde-survival game drawing from both Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar.
A failed run can strengthen the next one
Steam lists more than 40 playable champions with different starting weapons and statistics. Runs involve combining weapons with upgrades to evolve them, fighting growing crowds and eventually confronting large bosses.
Gold collected during a run can make your character stronger for later attempts. That persistent progression is part of what separates a roguelite from the stricter definition of a roguelike, as our genre explainer describes.

Two champions handle crowds differently
Designer Ellie Harrodine’s PlayStation Blog preview explains Morvenn Vahl’s heavy-bolter weapon, Fidelis. It sprays an arc of projectiles and can temporarily boost its firing rate. Evolving it adds a missile launcher to the warsuit’s attacks.
Lyssa Revenya instead uses a rope and grapnel. Hooks arrive from the screen’s edges, damaging enemies and dragging those that survive. Its evolved form summons the Ghost of Rhea, which travels across the battlefield before exploding into damaging fog. Vahl adds firepower across the arena, while Lyssa’s hooks also change where enemies stand.
Demo saves will not carry over
The updated demo includes Legend of Catachan and Lyssa Revenya. You can download it through the Steam listing, and Games Workshop also names Xbox on PC as a demo platform. The two-character trial is a sample of the full roster.
Auroch says saves from the previous demo do not transfer to this version, and demo progress will not transfer to the full release. If you plan to try it on PC, our guide to checking game requirements against your computer shows what to compare before downloading. We have not tested the new demo or measured its performance.
