Sony’s October Game Catalog announcement brings Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West and Mycopunk to PS Plus Extra and Premium on October 20. Mycopunk joins on its PS5 launch day, while Horizon returns to the service. The US lineup includes additional October 14 and October 27 releases, so the entire selection does not arrive at once.

Extra and Premium games, with US dates
Mafia offers a story-driven crime adventure, Horizon an open-world action game and Mycopunk a four-player cooperative shooter. The full US schedule is:
October 14: The Midnight Walk, PS5, also playable with PS VR2.
October 20: Mafia: The Old Country, PS5.
October 20: Horizon Forbidden West, PS5 and PS4.
October 20: Mycopunk, PS5.
October 27: Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, PS5 and PS4.
October 27: Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition, PS5 and PS4.
Dino Crisis 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition join Premium on October 20 for PS5 and PS4. One returns to Regina and Dylan’s dinosaur encounters. The other lets players build and manage parks, including a money-free sandbox.
Premium also gains trials for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy and Mortal Shell II on October 20. A trial provides limited access and is separate from a full Game Catalog addition.
The new catalog lineup requires Extra or Premium. Essential’s October monthly selection remains F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, claimable through November 2.
Catalog access lasts while a game remains in the service and you retain the appropriate membership. Adding it to your library does not preserve access after removal. Our PS Plus access-rules guide explains how that differs from monthly claims.
The dates above are for the US. Sony’s Spanish announcement lists October 20 for the selection, and availability can vary by region. Check your account’s PlayStation Store listing on the relevant release day.
