A rerun, not a debut: what exactly returns on 7 August

Best to say it plainly from the start so nobody's disappointed: this is a rerun, not a new collection. The four Jujutsu Kaisen skins Mobile Legends launched back in the day return from 7 August, as GamingonPhone rounds up, in an event running roughly a month.

The twist is that they don't come back untouched. Moonton has reworked them with updated effects and animations, and the sources that have seen them describe them outright as better than the originals. The timing isn't a coincidence either: the collaboration returns just as August's VIP with Aulus's corsair skin kicks off, so the month opens with two storefronts at once. And for anyone who started playing after the first batch, it's the first real chance to grab them.

The school's mages: Gojo for Xavier, Megumi for Julian

The casting follows the manga with real care, starting with the two sorcerers who land on mages. Satoru Gojo, Jujutsu's most powerful and most insufferable teacher, dresses Xavier, a sustained ranged-damage mage the Infinity Eyes aesthetic suits perfectly, cocky stillness and all.

Megumi Fushiguro and his shadow hounds go to Julian, another mage with a shadowy edge the skin makes good use of: Megumi's summons fit Julian's whips and zones almost without forcing the choreography. Two mages, two styles, and in both cases the costume respects the kit rather than hiding it.

The other two: Nobara for Melissa and Itadori for Yin

On the other side of the casting are the two close-range characters. Nobara Kugisaki — nails, hammer and attitude — goes to Melissa, the marksman who stitches dolls from the gold lane and sits near the top of our season ladder right now; of the four, it's the skin that'll see the most competitive play.

And Yuji Itadori, the protagonist, goes to Yin, a fighter built for locked one-on-one duels that fits the kid carrying Sukuna inside. Four characters, four different roles — two mages, a marksman and a fighter: there's a skin for almost any style, and none overlaps with another.

How to get them without blowing your paycheck

Here's the fine print worth reading before you touch your diamonds. There's no fixed price: the skins come out of a draw event with random rewards, so what you end up spending depends on luck. The most reliable route to aim for a specific skin is the Crest exchange system, which lets you redeem the one you want instead of praying to the RNG, and there are Premium Supply missions on 14 and 21 August handing out extra progress.

The house advice is simple: if you only want one of the four, go straight to the Crest exchange and forget the draw; if you want them all, price out the full event before you start spending. And if the costume tempts you to bring one of these four off the bench, their guides have the build, emblems and up-to-date counters so it comes with wins underneath.
