GTA VI’s radio will follow players out of their cars. Rockstar has confirmed that a phone and headphones will let players listen to stations and podcasts on foot, as reported by VGC. Its official music page also previews six stations and introduces a 34-track original album releasing November 19.
That gives the series’ familiar radio soundtrack a wider role. A walk through Vice City or Leonida can continue with music or spoken programming, rather than leaving the audio behind when the player exits a vehicle.
The first six station previews
Cocoteo features modern Latin music, while Back Country handles country. Afro Bank FM draws on amapiano, African classics and other styles. The Chamber is a metal station, Flash FM brings back Vice City pop, and Dirty South Classics focuses on Southern rap and hip-hop.
These are the stations available to preview in the announcement. Rockstar describes the game’s full radio and podcast selection as its largest and broadest yet. Six previews do not establish the final number of stations.

Original tracks arrive alongside the game
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album contains 34 original songs. Available singles include tracks by Yung Lean with Future and Metro Boomin, Travis Scott, Rauw Alejandro and Keith Richards. The album is a separate collection from the stations’ playlists, so 34 is not the total number of songs players will hear in GTA VI.
November 19 is also the announced release date for GTA VI on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
