Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed releases for Nintendo Switch 2 on October 6. Nintendo’s listing confirms Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, higher resolution, an improved frame rate and the Costume Pack. It gives no specific resolution or frames-per-second target.
Purple Lamp’s adventure first launched as Rebrushed in September 2024. Its Switch 2 edition returns to Wasteland, a world of forgotten Disney characters where Mickey uses a magical paintbrush.
Mouse controls join the existing remake
Paint restores parts of the environment, while thinner removes them. Those tools create different routes and solutions. The Switch 2 mouse option adds another way to aim and use the brush, rather than changing the adventure’s basic premise.
Rebrushed already added moves such as sprinting, dashing and a ground pound. This edition combines that existing remake with the listed visual improvements and costumes. The 2024 remake’s additions should not be confused with features introduced specifically for Switch 2.

Storage and language details
Nintendo lists one-player support, English and several other languages, including Spanish. Its estimated file size is 14.6 GB. Use that figure to plan storage, with room for the final download and any later updates.
Before buying more storage, check our guide to Switch 2 microSD Express compatibility. A card used to store original Switch games does not necessarily serve the same purpose on Switch 2.
