The Wolf Among Us Remastered releases October 29 with the original adventure’s five episodes and a black-and-white Noir mode. Telltale is preserving Bigby Wolf’s Fabletown story while updating its presentation. The date appears in its October 1 PlayStation Blog interview.
The Fables-based mystery returns with dialogue and decisions guiding the investigation. This release is separate from The Wolf Among Us 2. The sequel remains another project, currently planned for 2027.
Updated lighting and an optional monochrome view
Telltale says every scene has been relit, with new character models and textures. A newer version of the studio’s technology supports that work while retaining the original direction and visual style. Preserving the story while updating presentation is a distinction explained in our remake and remaster guide.
Noir mode can be switched on and off during play. Its fully black-and-white treatment differs from Telltale’s Batman Noir presentation, which retained selected color highlights. Changing the image does not add another storyline or campaign.

The full season plus production extras
The official product page includes all five episodes and material about the game’s creation, including interviews, commentary and concept art. The initial announcement described more than an hour of bonus video. That duration refers to extras, not new playable scenes or a measured campaign length.
Announced platforms include PC, PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch and Switch 2. The initial announcement placed physical editions later in the holiday period. Do not assume the October 29 date applies to every boxed release or region.
