Confirm your email before applying
Deep Silver begins sending applications today, October 12, for the Dawn of War IV closed beta running October 21–26, 2026. New applicants should join the game’s newsletter before October 18 and confirm their email address. The publisher will then send an application survey and the next steps.
Previous playtest participants are already on the testing list and should watch their inboxes for instructions. Existing newsletter subscribers will receive the survey by email. Newsletter signup, an application and selection are separate stages. Completing a signup form does not guarantee a beta place.

The test focuses on one-on-one battles
One-on-one skirmishes against AI will be available throughout the beta. One-on-one multiplayer runs during scheduled sessions, with times supplied to selected participants. The invitation does not describe access to the full campaign.
If an admitted player’s Steam installation is damaged, verifying the game files can repair the download. It cannot grant a beta license to an account that has not been selected.
Two Space Marine chapters take different approaches
In KING Art’s new faction overview, the Blood Ravens reach Kronus short of resources, favoring smaller engagements and reconnaissance missions. The Dark Angels retain access to heavier weapons and armor. Their campaign missions reflect those differences, rather than treating the two chapters as interchangeable skins.
Warhammer Survivors offers a separate demo for players who want another game in the setting. Dawn of War IV instead returns to army-based strategy, with a PC release scheduled for December 3.
