What patch 2.0.2 fixes

Embark released ARC Raiders hotfix 2.0.2 on October 9. It fixes weapons becoming partly invisible with certain attachments, missing inventory models and a server crash. Another repair addresses players getting stuck after falling through a grate in Pendola Pass.

The list also includes an error when purchasing DLC bundles. Embark tells players to restart the game to download the update. Staying in an existing session does not replace that step.

Frozen Trail adds a backpack light toggle

Frozen Trail, the 2.0 update, lets players disable decorative backpack lighting. Switching it off removes that visible glow when it stands out against the environment. The cosmetic setting does not promise invisibility or a universal change to enemy detection.

The skill tree also adds branch choices and the ability to make those choices again through a reset. Check which route a selection activates and which alternatives it closes before committing your points.

Pass progression is a separate issue

The 2.0.2 notes say Embark is investigating a reward-pass progression problem affecting some players. That issue is not listed among the hotfix’s completed repairs. Downloading the update and recovering missing progression are separate questions.

The October free-play promotion has now ended. If you suspect a damaged installation, Steam’s file verification can check its local files. It cannot independently repair a progression bug in the game or its servers.
