It launches November 5 on three platforms
Where the Seeds Fall launches November 5, 2026 for PS5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC through Steam. It is a single-player action adventure published by Cygames and developed by CygamesEdge with ZEREO. Pricing has not been announced.
Cygames lists Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Korean. Spanish is not among the confirmed languages. It is safer to wait than to assume more localisation will arrive at launch or later.
A soldier and a child descend the World Tree
The story pairs a soldier with a Fell Child on a journey towards a surface consumed by the Blight. Their route begins high in the World Tree and moves down through suspended ruins, wind currents and dangerous drops. Both travellers must read the environment before each leap.
The trailer does not sell constant combat. It shows climbing, balancing, gliding and routes that require testing the wind. That vertical scale and the relationship between the two travellers appear more central than a catalogue of enemies.

The debut of a new Cygames label
Where the Seeds Fall introduces CygamesEdge, a label intended to support small and mid-sized teams. That does not guarantee quality, but it helps explain a focused presentation built around one movement system and a contained production.
Its nearby date makes it one to watch after the event. You can also read the latest Final Fantasy VII Revelation details and our State of Play preview.
