Two shows, one morning
PlayStation has not announced one State of Play for September 3. It has announced two back-to-back broadcasts. The official stream begins at 9am ET and 6am PT on YouTube and Twitch. The first show will feature PlayStation Studios and third-party partners. State of Play Japan starts immediately afterwards.
Sony has not provided a running time or a complete game list. Any larger lineup circulating before Thursday therefore combines confirmation with guesswork. The division is clear, though. The opening broadcast covers studios around the world, while the second turns to creators in Japan and Asia.
Voice actor Yuki Kaji returns to host State of Play Japan, which promises gameplay, announcements and deeper looks at upcoming games. It will air in Japanese with English subtitles. The general State of Play is in English with Japanese subtitles.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation closes the first show
The one confirmed game is large enough to explain why Sony saved it for the end. The first broadcast concludes with an extended look at the world of Final Fantasy VII Revelation. Square Enix has already revealed the Highwind, the Weapons and a simultaneous spring 2027 release, but exploration, combat and the trilogy's conclusion still leave plenty to explain.

Square Enix's official site makes a focused promise: take to the skies, choose a course and stand with the party against Sephiroth one final time. Thursday will show how much of that world can be demonstrated without giving away its ending.
Time and where to watch
Both broadcasts begin Thursday, September 3 at 9am ET, 6am PT, 2pm BST and 3pm CEST. PlayStation will stream them through its official YouTube and Twitch channels with no break announced between the two shows.
Sony also warns anyone archiving or clipping the event that licensed music may interfere with co-streams and VOD uploads. It recommends removing copyrighted music from saved coverage.
