32,000 Battle Points per hero: how to unlock heroes without spending Diamonds

The client caps weekly match earnings at 8,000 Battle Points. These rewards, cards and conversions actually shorten the wait for a hero.

The fastest route to more Battle Points

Battle Points have no secret trick or legitimate generator: they come from playing, collecting rewards and recycling items you no longer need. The fast route is to clear anything that expires before filling the weekly match counter, rather than grinding games after the client has stopped paying Battle Points for them.

That said, before entering a queue open Events, Tasks and your mail, claim anything you have pending and activate a Double Battle Points card if you are about to play several matches. Then check the inventory for duplicate trial cards or convertible items, while saving Diamonds for purchases that cannot use the free currency.

This is the order we follow on a regular account, without buying bundles or using external applications.

  • Claim daily, weekly, event and season rewards before they expire.
  • Play until you reach the weekly counter shown by your own client.
  • Activate Double Battle Points cards immediately before a long session, not as you close the game.
  • Sell duplicates and trial cards you do not plan to use.
  • Test a hero in Free Rotation or Training before spending 24,000 or 32,000 points.

How many Battle Points you can earn each week

Our August 27, 2026 screenshot says, «Battle Points earned from matches this week: 0/8000». That wording matters: the 8,000 cap applies to match earnings and does not erase every event, activity, season or inventory reward delivered through another route.

Yet the same client prices Mathilda at 32,000 Battle Points or 599 Diamonds. If you relied on four 8,000-point match caps alone, buying her would take four complete weeks, while tasks, chests, conversions and cards can bring that date forward.

The visible cap can vary with account credit and active effects, however. Some Double Battle Points cards temporarily raise the maximum as well as multiplying a reward, so read the item description and trust the counter on your profile instead of a fixed number copied from an old guide.

The community currency wiki documents those variations.

Once the counter is full, change goals: complete tasks that grant other resources, test heroes or wait for the weekly reset. More matches can still help rank, practice or event progress, but they are no longer the efficient way to build this currency.

How to use cards, rewards and duplicates efficiently

Do not confuse the green Double EXP card with the purple vouchers showing a coin and x2. The first doubles account experience, whereas the second affects Battle Points, and our inventory screenshot shows both as the description at the bottom changes with each selected item.

A one-day card makes sense when several matches are lined up, not for one quick win before bed. Activating it with an almost full counter is like using a voucher five minutes before closing: the reward is multiplied, but much of the duration is wasted.

Tasks, Events, activity rewards, achievements and end-of-season rewards also deserve a pass. Amounts and names change between versions, so this guide does not promise one fixed figure per chest. The durable rule is to claim anything with an expiry date before checking what remains under the match cap.

In Inventory, Sell in Batch converts certain duplicates and trial cards into Battle Points. Check every selection before confirming, because a trial for an unfamiliar hero may be worth more than a few coins. Active Mobile Legends redeem codes and official events can provide items, but they never justify sharing a password or installing a generator; our guide to free Diamonds and scams explains that boundary.

Which hero you should unlock first

In my view, spending 599 Diamonds on Mathilda makes no sense when the game also sells her for 32,000 Battle Points. Diamonds are premium and cover purchases the free currency cannot reach, while Battle Points exist specifically to expand the roster and buy certain emblem sets.

The right decision depends on the position you actually play. Before paying, enter Training, use Free Rotation and check whether the hero fills a gap in your account. Our best beginner heroes, roles and lanes explainer and Season 41 tier list reduce the chance of buying a character for one attractive animation.

Do not mix currencies either. Battle Points, Diamonds, Tickets and fragments have separate stores and uses. When a screen offers two prices, choose Battle Points whenever they can buy the hero and keep premium currency for something that playing cannot cover.

Which hero will you test before unlocking them with your Battle Points? Tell us.
