The Blood of Dawnwalker has a launch trailer, and September 3 cannot come soon enough

Rebel Wolves packs vampires, consequences and Coen's double life into two minutes. The RPG reaches PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC with no early access.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is one week away, and Rebel Wolves has released the video meant to finish the wait. Rather than unveil another enormous system or explain the entire RPG, its launch trailer sells the danger of Vale Sangora and reminds us that Coen may save his family without preserving all of his humanity. The game launches on September 3, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

No edition includes early access, so everyone begins on the same day. One warning: paying for a more expensive edition will not let anyone play early. Here is the full 4K trailer.

Two lives and only 30 days

The edit keeps returning to the idea that separates Rebel Wolves' debut from its peers. Coen fights as a human by day, using a sword and runes carved into his body, while at night his claws, speed and hunger for blood emerge. These are not two skins for one character. They change how he moves, fights and solves quests.

But more importantly, every major decision spends part of the month he has left to rescue his family. Our guide explains how those 30 days work and why ordinary exploration consumes no time. The appeal is that players cannot clear the entire map before choosing because following one story means surrendering another, and this trailer insists those sacrifices will have faces.

Combat is the final big question

The atmosphere, music and premise had already won us over, and this final video strengthens all three. But the remaining unknown can only be answered with a controller: whether directional combat stays precise across dozens of hours, and whether the technical ambition arrives properly tuned on all three platforms. At least the final PC requirements dropped dramatically from their provisional targets, a far more reassuring sign than that original RTX 5090 recommendation.

September 3 is the date

We are easy to tempt when a dark RPG promises choices that genuinely close doors, but this is more than vampire styling. The Blood of Dawnwalker wants time to behave like a currency and finishing the game not to mean seeing everything. If Rebel Wolves can sustain that idea without turning the clock into a nuisance, September may begin with one of the year's most distinctive releases. We get the answer on September 3.
