Croteam has revealed the first gameplay from The Talos Principle 3, its planned trilogy finale for PC and PS5 in 2027. The footage appeared at the October 8 Triple-I Initiative showcase, followed by a publisher press release on October 9. There is still no exact release date.
The game itself was announced in May. This reveal provides a first look at it in motion rather than a new launch window. The official promotional screenshots accompanying this story were supplied through Cosmocover and do not come from an INSERT FUTURE play session.
Puzzles inside a world with different rules
The setting is the Anomaly, a region where ordinary physical laws no longer hold. According to the Steam description, you arrive with fragmented memories among ruined temples and abandoned scientific outposts. Solving puzzles helps you piece together your past as an explorer and the history of the civilization humanity built.
The developer describes more than a dozen worlds, with familiar puzzle systems alongside new ones. Players can focus on the challenges needed to progress or pursue further secrets. The supplied images show floating structures, energy barriers and devices linked by light beams. Those still images do not establish the full rules of the puzzles.
For another puzzle adventure heading to PC and PS5 in 2027, Uncanyon builds its challenges around blending realities to open paths.

Why Croteam is ending the trilogy
In its May announcement, Croteam said the plans for the second and third games took shape during development of the original. The studio sees them as three chapters tracing different moments in robotic humanity’s history. Talos 3 continues into the future created after the events of The Talos Principle 2.
This is a new sequel, separate from 2025’s The Talos Principle: Reawakened, which revisited the 2014 original. Our guide to remakes, remasters and reboots explains the distinctions behind those returning-game labels.

Wishlists are open, pricing is still pending
Steam and the US PlayStation Store both offer wishlist options. Neither listing provides a price or an exact launch date in the pages checked for this story. The publisher’s announced platforms remain PC and PS5, with no additional console version established by these sources.
