US Prime members can play Star Wars Galactic Racer’s single-player campaign through Amazon Luna from October 6 without buying the game separately. Amazon gaming head Jeff Gattis confirmed the day-one arrival to Bespin Bulletin, describing access to the campaign without a console or a game download.
Amazon lists the United States as a supported cloud-gaming region and requires a Prime membership from the country where you live. A subscription registered in another market does not, by itself, establish eligibility in the US.
What cloud access means for the campaign
The game runs on Amazon’s servers while your device sends controller inputs and receives a video stream. That removes the need to install or run the full game locally. Access comes through the subscription. Amazon’s Luna Standard help distinguishes the Prime-included streaming library from downloadable PC games that members can claim and keep.
Galactic Racer follows Shade through an underground racing league, with vehicle, route and upgrade choices shaping each attempt. Our campaign overview explains those mechanics.

Check your screen and controller
Amazon’s supported-device list includes Chrome and Edge on Windows PCs and Macs, plus Safari on iPhones running iOS 15 or later and iPads running iPadOS 15 or later. Selected Samsung and LG TVs and Fire TV devices also support Luna. Check the exact model and operating-system version before relying on a living-room TV.
A Luna Controller is one option. Amazon also supports other controllers, including Xbox One and PS5 DualSense controllers on Windows. Support varies by device, so check the pairing of controller and screen rather than assuming a controller works everywhere.
Bandwidth and data use
For 1080p video, Amazon specifies a sustained connection of at least 10Mbps and recommends Ethernet or 5GHz Wi-Fi. That bandwidth requirement does not measure the delay between a button press and the response on screen. Our cloud-gaming speed and data guide explains why connection stability and latency matter alongside download speed.
Amazon’s general Luna help warns that 1080p streaming can use up to 10GB per hour. That is a service-wide estimate, not a measurement of Galactic Racer. Check your mobile or home internet data allowance before settling into a long session.
