The music shapes the enemy waves
Amazon has released Space Metal Mania as a Luna GameNight title included with Prime. It is a space shoot-’em-up built around flying through hostile waves and taking down bosses. Amazon says those waves and encounters are designed around the soundtrack, making the songs part of the level structure rather than background decoration.
Licensed tracks come from Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Mastodon, Avenged Sevenfold and Pantera. Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine also voices the commander. Amazon has not described a strict hit-every-note rhythm game, so the safer expectation is an arcade shooter with music-driven patterns.

Four players can mix phones and controllers
The game supports solo play and local co-op for up to four. A group can use phones, conventional controllers, or both in the same session on a TV. That removes the need to own four gamepads, though each person still needs a suitable control device and the household needs a connection capable of streaming Luna.
GameNight is the social part of Luna’s Prime offering. It is separate from Prime’s PC-game claims and codes. If streaming is new to your group, our cloud gaming data and connection guide covers the difference between download speed and how much data a session consumes.

Included with Prime does not mean owned
Space Metal Mania runs through Amazon’s cloud service. It is not installed on a console or PC merely because a Prime account includes access, and a subscription catalog can change. Our explanation of digital game ownership covers why access and a permanent local copy are different questions.
We have not tested a full four-person session, so we cannot rate the co-op balance or latency. The verified attraction is specific enough: familiar metal songs, one screen and a way for friends to join without matching controllers.
