Rockstar Games did more than produce the 27-minute GTA 6 Extended Look, because it also opened Rockstar North to four creators and designed a different demonstration for each one. Rubius was among them and says he is the first Spanish-language creator invited to see the game inside the Edinburgh studio.
The session lasted more than two hours and was led by Rob Nelson, development director and co-head of Rockstar North, who held the controller while asking Rubius what he wanted to do and where he wanted to go. It was not a free hands-on session. Even so, Rockstar allowed him to discuss systems absent from Netflix, share new images and make clear that the company did not pay him for the video.
Four creators entered GTA 6 through different paths
According to Rubius, each guest followed a different route to uncover material absent from the Extended Look, with his journey beginning in a new apartment belonging to Jason and Lucia, passing through plazas, beaches, an explorable hotel and a jewellery store, and ending above Vice City with one enormous claim: a technician reportedly placed the map at roughly three times the size of Red Dead Redemption 2.
The demonstration was running on a standard PS5 and Rubius, surprised by the visuals, remembers asking whether it was PS5 Pro or PC, only to receive a blunt answer from the team: «This is on base PlayStation 5». It was not running at 60 FPS, although he found it fluid, and nobody gave him a PS5 Pro figure, so turning this session into a final technical specification would be absurd. Our GTA 6 console comparison collects what has been confirmed.

Police will remember your face and cars will need fuel
The most powerful part is not any single activity but the way these systems appear to connect: police would remember a face, clothing, vehicle and whether Jason or Lucia had a partner, while changing clothes or splitting up would help shake them. Expensive cars carry trackers that must be removed at a garage and the 6-star wanted level returns.
Vehicles also use fuel, although Nelson explained that it drains slowly enough to avoid turning every journey into the visit to a petrol station that everyone postpones until the warning light appears. Stealing a car may require forcing its lock, while boots can store long guns, loot, bodies or even a protagonist.
The limited inventory inherits the logic of Red Dead Redemption 2, while food, exercise and activities would alter Jason and Lucia's bodies as they did in San Andreas. Their relationship carries consequences too, with time spent together improving their coordination during robberies and abandoning a partner in a firefight potentially damaging the bond.
We believe that network of small consequences will matter more than the map's size, because an enormous island impresses for a week, but remembering that police are looking for your jacket or that you left a rifle in another car creates stories for years. Our complete GTA 6 guide will incorporate these mechanics when Rockstar documents them.

It looks impressive, but this is not the final build
Rubius saw an interface that sometimes filled the screen, a still-absent first-person camera and small animation bugs that the team logged as they appeared.
Nelson said the prompts can be disabled but did not promise a first-person perspective. The demonstration took place before the leaks and months before the game arrives on November 19, 2026, so nothing guarantees that every detail will survive unchanged.
After Rockstar confirmed the leaked videos were authentic, this visit supplies the missing context and shows that the company is already presenting GTA 6 beyond its own edit, even if it still decides who holds the controller. The definitive test arrives on November 19.
