Ubisoft will shut down Rainbow Six Mobile on January 15, 2027. The development team says the game will remain available until then and its next season will arrive next week as planned.

The October 9 statement applies to the mobile game. It does not announce a shutdown of Rainbow Six Siege or the end of the wider franchise.

Another season before the shutdown

The team looks back on 15 seasons since the 2023 soft launch, thanking players for tournaments, strategies and community videos. The upcoming season will run with the end of service already in sight, giving returning players a known deadline.

Developers will move to other long-term strategic projects. Ubisoft does not identify those projects or provide user and revenue figures that would establish a specific financial explanation for the closure.

Purchase and transition rules are still pending

More updates are promised in the coming weeks. This statement does not set out what happens to purchases, virtual currency or possible refunds. Players considering spending for long-term use should check subsequent official notices and the game’s own messages before buying.

Rainbow Six Mobile brought tactical attack-and-defense matches to Android and iOS. Other projects are taking the series in different directions, including Rainbow Six Tactics’ turn-based battles. Ubisoft has not described that game as a continuation of Mobile accounts.
