All three games will be available from August 4

Sony has closed the prediction pool. The PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for August 2026 are Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk and Signalis. Essential, Extra and Premium members can claim all three from Tuesday, August 4 through Monday, August 31.

July's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, For the King II and CrossCode remain available until Monday the 3rd. Claim them before the switch and they will stay in your library while your membership is active. Our July PS Plus guide has the details.

The lineup combines one brand-new release with two games that already have a clear reputation. It covers open-world co-op action, a social adventure built around conversation and one of the most admired survival-horror games of recent years.

Dying Light 2 is the big name, while Signalis is the easy recommendation

Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition is available on PS5 and PS4. Its campaign mixes parkour, combat and decisions across a post-apocalyptic city, with co-op for up to four players. It is August's largest game and the obvious choice for anyone hoping to get dozens of hours from the subscription.

Signalis joins as a PS4 title. It is a science-fiction horror adventure built around puzzles, scarce resources and an analogue-tech aesthetic that gradually turns nightmarish. It is far shorter than Dying Light 2, but it is the game I would tell almost everyone to install—even people who usually avoid horror.

Big Walk launches directly into PS Plus

Big Walk was the only certainty when we published the first version of this story. The new adventure from House House, creator of Untitled Goose Game, launches on PS5 on August 4 and enters PlayStation Plus on day one.

Two to twelve players explore an island full of puzzles, tools and opportunities to lose one another. Proximity chat fades as the group separates, making binoculars, flares and radios part of the game.

Our original prediction picked Rematch and Sonic Superstars. We missed both. Sony chose a stronger combination: one enormous game, one launch that needs a community immediately and one small gem for players wanting a shorter experience.

A separate bonus arrives on August 6. Members can claim a MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls pack containing five avatars and result-screen poses until August 6, 2027; it must be claimed separately. You can follow the service through our consoles and subscriptions hub.
