Neptune’s Kingdom opens in 2027
Tripwire Interactive and Demiurge Studios have announced Maneater 2 for PS5. Its official window is 2027, with no month, day or price. The PlayStation Store lists single-player, Remote Play, DualSense features and PS5 Pro enhancement.
A new female bull shark is trapped inside Neptune’s Kingdom, a private park mixing luxury, Roman architecture and reckless biotechnology. The goal remains to eat, explore and evolve, this time to escape a tourist attraction.
Tropical, arctic and volcanic biomes share the island. Visitors and armed security occupy the surface, while vehicles, predators and modified creatures wait below. Chris Parnell returns as narrator Trip Westhaven.
Our State of Play recap places the reveal beside the show’s other dates.

What changes from the first Maneater
Maneater 2 uses Unreal Engine 5. Tripwire promises improved underwater light diffusion and more involved creature behaviour, but has not provided a technical comparison, resolution target or frame-rate target.
The park combines surface points of interest with a disrupted food chain below. Mutations again transform the protagonist, although evolution trees, map size and campaign length remain unannounced.
The listing confirms PS5 but does not rule out other platforms. Missing logos are not proof of exclusivity. Our gaming terms dictionary explains concepts such as open worlds, game engines and frame rates.
