A Switch 2-exclusive 3D adventure
Nintendo describes Kirby and the World Beyond as a 3D Switch 2 adventure launching in 2027. It has no day, month or price, making that yearly window the only confirmed timing.
Scale is the visible difference. Kirby explores fields with vertical routes and obstacles that accept several abilities. The word world does not prove one seamless open structure, but these spaces are clearly broader than a traditional linear stage.

Copying is also a way to travel
Copy Abilities are no longer only attacks. Kirby can chain bomb-jumps, stick his sword into trees to climb and move quickly across the land. Each power doubles as a traversal tool capable of opening a different route.
A useful power changes how a player reads the environment, not merely a damage number. Our gaming dictionary explains open worlds, platforming and abilities without treating a marketing label as a complete design description.

A girl, King Dedede and a vast wall
The story begins with a mysterious girl linked to Kirby's new powers. King Dedede is involved again and a vast wall blocks the journey, asking what exists beyond the known world.
Nintendo has not confirmed co-op, length or a mission structure. The listing only establishes Switch 2, a 2027 release and supported languages. Everything else needs another presentation.
Exploration will decide whether it works
A larger space does not automatically improve an adventure. World Beyond must fill its routes with secrets and transformations that justify returning with a different ability without diluting Kirby's playful pace.
It already belongs among the most anticipated games of 2026 and 2027. The next demonstration should clarify whether these are broad zones, a connected world or a collection of stages with greater freedom.
