Dates and visiting hours
IFA 2026 is open at Messe Berlin from September 4 to 8. Visitor hours from Saturday the 5th through Tuesday the 8th are 10am to 6pm local time, CEST. The official programme lists presentations and activities.
Acer started the announcements on September 2 at 11 a.m. CEST with next@acer. Its cards are now on the table, and we have selected the 1,000Hz monitor, 799g laptop, repairable Vero and Atlas 7 handheld. AMD's opening keynote was scheduled for Friday, September 4 at 11 a.m., led by Computing and Graphics chief Jack Huynh.
Press presentations began on September 2, before the public opening. A conference date is not necessarily a day when visitors can enter the exhibition.
Samsung combines Humboldt Carré with the Creator Hub
Samsung is concentrating press and partner demonstrations at Humboldt Carré rather than its usual large exhibition hall. It has not disappeared from IFA altogether: it also sponsors and participates in the Creator Hub. Check the location and access conditions of the specific activity before travelling there.
Its announcements include an entry-level Galaxy Book6, adding a cheaper configuration to the range. Visitors trying it should check the display, keyboard and memory in the actual model on show.
What to check in hardware announcements
Xiaomi is exhibiting phones, connected-home equipment and personal devices at Messe Berlin alongside brands including LG, Lenovo, TCL and Hisense. Plan around specific products or activities rather than assuming every demonstration takes place in the same area.
