Cyberleek threatens a full GTA VI leak without proving he has the complete game

The latest threat ties a release to a cryptocurrency target and demands a disc edition from Take-Two. Leaked videos do not establish access to the full campaign.

A threat to release the campaign, without a verified complete build

Cyberleek claims to possess a GTA VI build that can be played through the entire story and end credits, and is threatening to release it. Tom Henderson reported the message at Insider Gaming, while stressing that the complete build has not been verified. There is a new threat to publish the game, rather than a confirmed leak of the full campaign.

The statement surfaced on October 10, with coverage continuing overnight into October 11 in Europe. It follows the 25 minutes of alleged gameplay we previously examined. Having development footage and possessing a build that runs to the end are separate claims. The earlier videos do not establish the latter.

The cryptocurrency target and demand for discs

According to the statement reported by Henderson, Cyberleek would release the build if his cryptocurrency reached a $30 million market capitalization. That is a theoretical valuation based on the currency’s price and supply. It does not mean $30 million has been raised or that Take-Two has been asked to make that payment.

The message also says Take-Two could prevent the release by apologizing and issuing GTA VI on disc. It supplies no deadline. Neither demand provides evidence that the promised complete build exists.

Rockstar’s confirmed release details

Rockstar lists November 19 as the release date for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Its editions page separates digital purchases from boxed retail copies, which contain a download code rather than a disc. That explains the subject of the leaker’s demand, without validating his claimed access.

An unverified threat does not make a download legitimate.
