Gran Turismo 7’s first Spec IV update arrives October 14 at 11 p.m. Pacific in the United States, or October 15 at 2 a.m. Eastern. Polyphony’s update 1.72 details list six cars, Sportsland Sugo and new features. The download is free, while cars require in-game credits.

PlayStation’s announcement uses the Pacific launch date. This is the first part of the previously announced Spec IV expansion, rather than its entire content arriving together.

Six cars with very different jobs

The lineup consists of the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo, Ferrari F355 Berlinetta ’94, Honda Civic Si Group A version ’87, Honda Step WGN Spada Premium Line ’23, Mazda RX-VISION GT3 EVO ’26 and Citroën 2 CV 6 Charleston ’86. Racing machines sit alongside sports cars and everyday vehicles.

Car Viewer additions and an Experience mode arrive with six World Circuit events and more Scapes photography locations. Sugo also gives players another track for cars already in their collection, without requiring them to buy every new vehicle.

A free update covers the download. Adding its cars to your garage still takes credits earned through progression or bought with money. The announcement should therefore not be read as six cars automatically handed to every player.
