Jin keeps all four stances

Sucker Punch has confirmed Jin Sakai as one of four playable characters in Ghost of Yōtei: Most Wanted. The single-player survival mode arrives on October 1, 2026 through the Complete Edition and a paid upgrade for existing owners.

Jin carries his katana and all four Ghost of Tsushima stances, each suited to a different enemy type. His ultimate revives Dance of Wrath, while a Ghost Stance kill streak terrifies nearby opponents and enables a short chain of one-hit kills.

What happens during a run

A run starts by choosing a bounty, then clearing waves and minibosses before facing one of the Yōtei Six. Perks alter weapons, summons, parries and survival. Defeat ends the run, but Mon earned during play buys techniques, upgrades, charms and characters outside it.

That persistent progress makes Most Wanted a roguelite. Our guide to the difference between roguelikes and roguelites explains why keeping currency and upgrades matters.

Four characters and rewards that travel

Atsu uses dual katana and can summon two wolves. Oyuki combines a kusarigama, kunai and rifle, while Nagato carries a spear, pistol and two bows. Each gets a separate ultimate and kill streak, so a character swap changes more than appearance.

Cosmetics earned in Most Wanted also unlock in Atsu's campaign. October 1 brings Echoes of Sekigahara and a free patch with an exploration-focused photo mode, new music, armor transmog and a high-contrast option. It joins the release season covered in our September games calendar.
