Football Manager 27 has a November 10, 2026 launch date, and Sports Interactive plans to open a Launch Preview one to two weeks beforehand. The official announcement puts the PC and Mac game, FM27 Console for Xbox and PS5, and Netflix's FM27 Mobile on the same starting date.

On PC, the announced stores are Steam, Epic Games and the Xbox PC app. PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will also have access. Neither the main announcement nor the US Xbox listing specifies a retail price in US dollars. If you are choosing between subscribing and buying, remember that catalog access and a purchased digital license have different conditions.

Early play is planned, but access is not settled

The Launch Preview window is the extent of the early-play commitment so far. Sports Interactive has not named an opening day or explained who will qualify. Pre-purchase details and discount offers will follow, so a wishlist entry, a subscription or a future preorder should not yet be treated as a confirmed route into the preview.

The publisher's press release also leaves additional platforms for later announcements. FM27, FM27 Console and FM27 Mobile remain separate editions. The launch news does not provide a full feature comparison or console pricing.

02

A more flexible management screen

Sports Interactive is changing how you move through the everyday work of managing a club. The official Xbox listing describes bookmarks, shortcuts and customizable tiles, alongside navigation intended to reduce clicks. An opposition report, for example, can sit within the dashboard rather than being information you repeatedly leave the main screen to find.

Cup draws, transfer-deadline activity and a revised news feed are among the returning or reworked features. They are designed to make events elsewhere in football easier to follow during your own season. The supplied press screenshots show a development build with localization still in progress, rather than a finished retail interface.

Screen layout is getting more flexibility too. The published settings screenshot shows default, detailed and condensed scaling options, allowing different amounts of information to fit the display. Those controls are visible in the preview material, but their usefulness on a particular monitor will still need hands-on testing.

Match-day changes focus on atmosphere

The latest developer deep dive describes a lighting system that changes as a match progresses, with rain and snow also changing how the pitch looks. Crowds get more varied clothing and audio, stadium structures have more variety, and pre-match scenes can use different camera angles. The aim is to make the setting reflect the season, weather and occasion.

These announcements do not establish how well FM27 will run on your computer. Our guide to checking whether a game will run on your PC explains what to compare before paying. Sports Interactive says a later reveal will cover player behavior and the system that simulates the football itself.
