Twinkleby makes seasonal decorations available beyond their season

Decorating no longer has to follow the season

Twinkleby’s first-anniversary update makes a useful change beyond the birthday celebrations. A traveling merchant named Cornel brings year-round access to seasonal decorations. The update arrived on September 23, giving island builders another way to obtain those items outside their original season.

Might & Delight describes the feature as a community request. It should not be mistaken for a promise that every item will be available simultaneously on every visit. The announcement establishes year-round access through Cornel’s inventory, not a complete, permanently fixed shop selection.

More furnishings and new personalities

Cornel also sells eleven new sets that cannot be purchased from Molligan. They include garden pieces, cabinets, shelves, crystals and a full breakfast set. For a game about arranging inhabited dioramas, those additions provide different scenes to build rather than another production statistic to raise.

Three residents join the update. Mr. Beaufort has the Nightowl and Creative traits, Basil is a Loner and Bibliophile, and Madame Eleanor is a Loner and Creative. The studio’s game description explains that traits affect how residents interact with their surroundings and with each other.

Players furnish houses on floating islands, attract inhabitants and work out what makes them happy to earn rewards. Unwanted furniture can be thrown off an island to return it to the collection. That blunt approach to rearranging an otherwise cozy home gives the game an amusing edge. If the appeal of building neighborhoods in Pokémon Pokopia is making homes for their inhabitants, Twinkleby likewise asks players to consider who will live in the house they have just furnished.

The lower base price is permanent

The standard US price has fallen permanently from $16.99 to $12.99. This is separate from the temporary anniversary promotion, so the promotional discount should not be confused with the price that remains afterward. The US Steam listing reflects the new base price and lists English among the supported languages.
