GTA 6 has not been announced for PC: every requirements list you see today is made up

The official listing names two consoles

Rockstar lists Grand Theft Auto VI for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. The official page does not include PC, and Take-Two has not announced a computer version either. Requirements cannot be official for a platform that has not been announced.

That invalidates every table currently assigning GTA 6 a particular Ryzen, RTX card, 16 or 32GB of RAM and an exact installation size. Some pages call those numbers estimates, while others bury that word in one sentence before presenting the table as if it came from Rockstar. Plausible hardware remains a guess.

How to identify a fabricated requirements list

Start with the source. Official requirements link to Rockstar, Take-Two or an authorized store and specify the operating system, processor, memory, graphics card, API and storage. If a page cites another page that points to a table without a company statement, the chain ends with nobody.

Be equally skeptical of neat 1080p and 60fps targets or ray-tracing labels without a technical note. A studio can publish target configurations, but until it does, the list proves nothing about performance. What you can prepare today

If you want to prepare, set money aside in case your PC eventually needs an upgrade, but do not buy a graphics card, processor or extra memory based on a fabricated table. You can also check how much storage you have free, although there is no target to meet yet. Rockstar has not said how large GTA 6 would be on PC or whether it would require an SSD.

We will update this page when Rockstar announces the platform and publish a requirements sheet only after an official source exists. Until then, the useful answer is simple: any site claiming to know GTA 6's PC requirements is lying.
