A portable version arriving with a new season
Diablo IV launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 15, 2026. Blizzard announced it at BlizzCon and included it in the official recap, but has not detailed resolution, frame rate, download size or graphical limits.
The port coincides with Hell’s Legacy, the 30th-anniversary season. The Prime Evils return, including Diablo, alongside Deckard Cain, Nightmare Rifts, anniversary rewards and gear inspired by different eras of the series.
What remains unconfirmed
The new-player package is Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection and includes the base game, Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred. Blizzard confirms cross-progression for Diablo IV, but each platform requires its own purchase. Switch 2 pricing and technical details remain unannounced.

Amazon in 2027 and Diablo V in 2029
Hell’s Legacy is the immediate celebration while Blizzard prepares two later steps: the Amazon class comes to Diablo IV in the first half of 2027, and Diablo V is planned for spring 2029.
